 The "Green Hell" - the Nürburgring. It was built in the 1920s to promote economic development in the Hocheifel region.
As you are hiking along this trail you will be provided with interesting facts about the history of the Nürburgring and the formation of the volcanic Hocheifel landscape.
Furthermore, you will learn more about the unique flora and fauna around the legendary Nordschleife - the so-called "Green Hell".
There are two routes for you to hike on: one of 5 km length and the other one of 7.5 km length.
