 A marvelous route through the beautiful Eifel countryside leads you past a multitude of old mills. Some of them are well-preserved and many can still be visited.
These mills document the economic utilization of water power in the Eifel region over the past centuries.
The entire route extends over a distance of 68 km.
It starts in Adenau from where it goes over Leimach, Dümpelfeld and Schuld to Hümmel and then over Wershofen, Barweiler, Kottenheim and Quiddelbach back to Adenau.
A total of 15 mills are situated along this romantic route.
