The mountain biking route (30 km) leads you along the old Nordschleife of the Nürburgring through the "Green Hell". It is a versatile and challenging route.
It leads you over forest tracks as well as high hills. Starting at Adenau the route ascends on the next 3 km at an average gradient of 8 - 13% to the Hohe Acht (the highest elevation in the Eifel region).
Then it goes over the famous Nürburgring sections Brünnchen, Galgenkopf, Hatzenbach, Quiddelbacher Höhe, Schwalbenkreuz and Fuchsröhre to the Kallenhard curve. From there the route heads steeply downhill to the Wehrseifen section and then back to Adenau.
